Author FAQs
Are you a self-publisher and is there any cost to me?
We are a full-service publisher, meaning we provide all levels of editing (development, copy editing, proofreading) as standard. We do the layout and design the cover as well. There is no cost to authors and they earn money through royalties based on sales revenue.
Do I need to have a finished manuscript?
Not at all. We're happy to hear from you at any stage — whether you have a rough idea, a detailed outline, or a completed draft.
What does the publishing process look like?
After an initial conversation, we'll agree on an outline and schedule. You write, we provide editorial support throughout, then we handle production and distribution.
How are royalties handled?
We offer authors royalties as a percentage of the net sales that we receive. Net here is the actual amount of money received by us (after conversion of any foreign currency received), net of VAT or of any other taxes; any bank charges; handling charges; printing costs; and postage and packaging charges.
